International Paramedics Day is a global celebration of the dedication, professionalism, and unwavering commitment of paramedics and first responders to the communities they serve.

While we recognise that paramedics around the world often work in extremely challenging, complex, and sometimes distressing environments, this day is not intended as a platform for political discussion or advocacy. It is a moment to honour the compassion and contributions of those working across emergency, urgent, and community care settings, irrespective of geography or circumstance.
 

We acknowledge the many difficulties faced by paramedics globally, including those in regions affected by conflict, crisis, or inequality, and we hold space for their experiences without aligning with or promoting any political stance. International Paramedics Day is about unity, respect, and celebration of a profession that saves lives and supports communities under all conditions.
 

We expect all participants to respect these principles.
