PARAMEDICS'
PLEDGE.

It has taken more than a year to bring to fruition but to mark International Paramedics Day 2023, we have the great honour of presenting the Paramedics’ Pledge.

Much like the Hippocratic Oath taken by physicians and the Scouts Promise made by every scout around the world at the beginning of their scouting journey, the Paramedics’ Pledge was created to capture the essence of what it means to be a paramedic.

A symbol of unification for the profession, the pledge evolved into what it is today thanks to the collaboration from paramedics all over the world. And so it is only fitting that it is officially launched for International Paramedics Day.
